Whose Peers?

How to Read This Site (Sample Article)

This is placeholder content standing in for a real launch article — it demonstrates the article template, not a piece of DA editorial work.

Sample content. This article exists to demonstrate the template — swap it for a real piece before launch. See src/content/articles/README.md.

This article exists to show what the article template looks like with real content in it — headings, a pull quote, a list, and a link — not to make any actual claim.

What a real article needs

When you’re ready to replace this with a launch piece, each article should include:

  • A headline and deck that state the real claim in the first two lines.
  • The series it belongs to (this one is filed under Whose Peers?, just as a demo).
  • A body that names the actor when the evidence supports naming the actor.
  • Sources or further reading, when the piece draws on outside material.

Pull quotes render like this — in the punk/annotation voice, set apart from the body copy.

Deleting this file

Once you have three to five real articles ready, delete every file in this folder whose frontmatter says placeholder: true. See README.md in this folder for the frontmatter format.
